As a seasoned professional with 15+ years’ experience spanning consulting, Insurance, investment banking and Microfinance sector, He has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the financial services landscape with core competencies in strategic planning & change management , risk management, marketing, MSMEs Lending , credit analysis & structuring, customer acquisition , liability generation, product innovation, branch expansion , People management, Capital raising and investment advisory.
He is highly analytical and results-oriented with a passion for excellence and a knack for identifying and implementing innovative solutions and highly experienced in motivating teams to push through challenges in accomplishing collective goals with proven track records.
His professional Experience in the financial industry began with Cornerstone Insurance PLC and Intercontinental Life Assurance before joining AB microfinance bank LTD in 2011 to kick start his microfinance banking career where He honed his skills in various roles, including deposit mobilization, banking operations, micro loans and SME lending before joining Addosser in 2016. This early and diverse exposure laid a solid foundation for his future success in the industry.
Adekanbi’s leadership and strategic thinking shone through at Addoser Microfinance Bank, having started as a Retail Business Manager, then to a Branch Manager and eventually rose to Group Head of Strategy. His ability to identify & capitalize on market opportunities coupled with his excellent strategy formulation and execution skills played significant roles in Addoser’s Transformation, Growth and Success story.
MR. Oluwaseun holds a Bachelor degree from Tai Solarin University of Education with an award as the best graduating student of Economics department. He is also an Alumnus of Boulder Institute of Microfinance, Italy and members of different professional bodies including Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management (CILRM). Additionally, he has participated in diverse training programs both locally and internationally, including the Boulder Institute of Microfinance, Italy and the prestigious Lagos Business School. His dedication to continuous learning and professional development has helped him to remain at the forefront of the financial industry, equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the ever-evolving market landscape.
