University of Lagos Microfinance Bank (UNILAG MFB) has praised its pioneer managing director, Tunji Jayeola, for putting the bank on the path of sustainability and profitability before bowing out.
Jayeola, who spent three and half years as managing director retired recently alongside other directors: Prof. Solomon Wale Okunuga, Prof. Bola Oboh, Mr. Segun Odusanya and the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, who voluntarily quit the board as chairman.
Speaking on behalf of the Board at a sendoff for the directors, Mrs Osifeso described Jayeola as a pleasant and thoroughbred gentleman. “The UNILAG MFB MD did a good job. There was no fraud during his time. We wish him the best,’’ she added.
