Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS
Folasade Tolulope Ogunsola, Ph.D., FNAMed, FAMedS, FAS, has been a medical doctor and professor of clinical microbiology since 2008. She is Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Her research interest has centered mainly on diagnosing and preventing infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance. She has worked extensively on understanding the epidemiology and ecology of resistant organisms in the hospital environment and preventing their transmission to patients and staff. She has also worked extensively in the community, especially in HIV and tuberculosis prevention for slum dwellers. She has worked at different times, since 2003, with the World Health Organization on infection prevention and control programs and has been deployed to assist with Ebola epidemics. She is a member of the Africa Task Force for Novel Coronavirus (AFCOR) and was on the Lagos State Think Tank for COVID-19. She currently serves as a member of the World Health Organization Stag-IH (Strategic and Advisory Group on Infectious Hazards) with epidemic and pandemic potential and is on the Expert Review Committee on Polio Eradication and Routine Immunization in Nigeria.
Ogunsola is actively involved in healthcare manpower development. She was the PI of the NIH-funded program BRAINS (Building Research and Innovation in Nigeria’s Sciences) to develop research capacity in junior faculty. She has mentored over 65 M.Sc. students and supervised and co-supervised 10 Ph.D. students and 12 specialist doctors. She has published over 145 articles in peer-reviewed journals nationally and internationally. She is presently the director of the Centre for Infection Control and Patient Safety.
Mr. Akinwumi Fanimokun
Mr. Akinwumi Godson Fanimokun, FCIB has a distinguished career and wealth of experience, spanning 35 years, in effecting and implementing change, driving strategic positioning, and demonstrating diverse competencies and leadership across systems and multiple business sectors.
Mr. Fanimokun worked with First Bank from 1980 – 2015, where he headed various units amongst which is the Manager ((Banking) First Bank of Nigeria, UK), Project Manager, New Banking Application (Finacle 7) and Group Head, Public Sector, Abuja. In 2009, he served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of First Pension Custodian. In 2013 he was appointed Group Executive, Technology and Services of First Bank of Nigeria. A position he held until his retirement in 2015. He currently sits on the boards of First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Nigeria Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) and Xpress MTS.
Mr. Fanimokun holds a BSc. Economics from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), from Henley Management College, United Kingdom. In his quest for developing diverse competencies, he has attended several distinguished professional trainings, from Harvard Business School in 2007 and 2009, Chicago Booth Business School in 2008, London Business School (UK) in 2010, Fund Forum International Conference in 2011 and 2012, Global Custody Forum in 2010 and 2012, Institute of Directors (UK) in 2019, NGX Academy (Nigeria) in 2023 and IESE Business School (Spain) in 2023. He was an Executive Committee member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria (Lagos Branch) from 2008 to 2011 and Chairman Bankers’ Night Committee from 2009 to 2011.
He enjoys reading and playing table tennis with his wife, Abiola Fanimokun.
Professor Abiola Olaitan Sanni
Professor Sanni is a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with 30 years’ post Call experience. He is a Fulbright Fellow and a Professor of Commercial Law (Tax Law). He occupies an endowed chair as the Lagos State Professor of Tax and Fiscal Matters at University of Lagos. He is a thorough bred professional with robust multi-disciplinary background.
He is a Fellow, Member and Legal Adviser to many reputable institutions and International organizations. He has handled cases at all levels of the Judicial System in Nigeria from the Tax Appeal Tribunal up to the Supreme Court.
Mrs. Osifeso Olabisi Yetunde
Mrs. Osifeso hails from Ogun State. She rose through the ranks to become Acting Head of Operations until her retirement in February, 2018 at Ecobank Plc. She is an accomplished banker with cognate experience in different sectors of the banking industry.
She has served in several Committees/Board including ALCO, CBN RTGS payments scheme Board, and Disciplinary Committee. She is versed in the use of banking applications like Globus, Finacle and Flexcube. She has a research work on the role of Corporate Manpower Planning. She has also attended several courses and seminars which has contributed to her vast knowledge in banking operations.
Mrs. Oluwafunmilola .Y. Adekunle
Mrs. Oluwafunmilola Yetunde Adekunle attended Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School, Akure Ondo state, for her leaving certificate. She immediately gained admission to the Ogun State Polytechnic Abeokuta for Ordinary National Diploma and the Federal Polytechnic Illaro for her Higher Diploma in Accounting. Still not satisfied she went ahead for a degree and master’s degree both in Accounting from the University of Lagos.
In 2002 she became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a fellow of the Institute by 2013.
She joined the services of the University of Lagos in 2005 after a five-year stint 5 in the banking industry. She has good knowledge of public finance with proven pedigree in financial management within the University. She was the Deputy Bursar in charge of Treasury Unit from where she was appointed the Bursar University of Lagos on the 3rd of November 2022. She is happily married with children.
Mrs. Inaingo Ogufere
Inaingo Ogufere (ID) is currently the Managing Director of The KRC Limited. She is an experienced trainer/facilitator and a UK certified Personal & Business coach.
ID has worked with the KRC Limited since 2010 and takes responsibility for the development of the business and structural modelling of all training programmes. She also worked briefly (Jan 2016 till Jan 2017) as the Director General, Bayelsa State Enterprise Development Agency.
She is a seasoned banker and financial manager; having worked extensively with GTBANK Plc in different credits & marketing roles from 1995 till 2007 and also at ARM Plc from 2008 till 2009 as Vice President, Business Development.
ID holds an MBA from the Lagos Business School, Ajah, Lagos in Nigeria and a Human Resources Diploma from Cornell University New York. She is extensively trained, multiskilled and an internationally published author and conference speaker.
