After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I was treated by Dr Chumy /Dr Jimoh. During their course of treatment, I was looked after by the clinical team. They have such a huge heart for patients and claim it's almost an extension of family. The medical care improved my health drastically.
I heard about Lakeshore Cancer Center from my husband, he kept talking about the clinic and saw the need for me to go for screening. After booking an appointment over the phone, I went in for a mammogram and was received with smiles which I thought was comforting. To my surprise the result was ready in few hours and I must say, the entire staff from reception to clinical department was so caring to me and my family.
At age 22 I was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer after consulting at the center with my care providers. My doctors and nurses were so caring and immediately I knew they wanted to treat and cure and also do the best they can for my case. I felt lucky to have the entire LCC team as my care provider. The team was patient, welcoming and friendly. I felt very relaxed at the center. They always knew when to crack jokes and when to be serious.
I never knew of this center till my need to have a place well equipped to handle my case came up. I have been pleasantly surprised and grateful to this institution for being very capable of managing oncology cases to this extent. It is setting the pace in Nigeria for sure.
I was referred by a doctor to Lakeshore Cancer Center in March 2018.i was at my lowest ebb but was encouraged by the Doctors that my ailment is not a death sentence. I was counseled by the Doctors and this encouraged me greatly. I do not lose sleep over the ailment and I do not think about it. I have laid it to God and this has greatly helped me.
